    Please, ignore the bad reviews of Arigato and check it out for yourself. The rice Arigato uses is the best sushi rice I have ever had ANYWHERE, and trust me when I say so as I've been to a LOT of sushi places all over the country. The owner and chef is an amazing man with a lot of ideas and a kind heart who remembers the regulars that come, he remembered my mom and I after the first time we had gone. Some of the staff is okay and some are awesome, but what you go for isn't that but rather the food because that's what really matters. The chef has created many new and different rolls including different ingredients you've never heard of in sushi. Go to Arigato, don't miss out!

    Food is expertly prepared and the presentation is absolutely fantastic. Food is also absolutely amazing in taste. The waiters were very friendly and made sure all our needs were taken care of. 10/10 would absolutely visit again.

    I love restaurants where the owner is alway the chef. If you sit at the bar you get to talk with him. I personally love sushi rools with citrus and they have an abundance of them to choose from. Happy hour here is legit, me and the wife got a total of 4 rolls and a few drinks and got out of there for under 50 bucks. I call that a win!

    Great little sushi spot in La Mesa, hit up the Happy Hours for great deals! This plate is: Mimi Chan, Cowles Mountain, Tuna Kahuna, Crunchy Mango, and Grumpy Cat rolls. I do recommend the Melting Cat as well!
